AUSSIE UMPS HIT COURTS AT ROLAND GARROS

TOA was again represented by a strong contingent of officials at the French Open at Roland Garros – our umpires very popular in Paris.

The ITF finalised selections for the French slam, as well as The Championships at Wimbledon, earlier this year - with many of Australia’s badged officials again selected to take part.

John Blom (ACT), Catherine Caswell (NSW), Matthew Kellert (NSW), Kelly Krusic (VIC), Abhaya Parthy (NSW), Thomas Sweeney (VIC) and James Tucker (QLD) took to the world famous clay courts at Roland Garros during May.

Meanwhile, John, Catherine, Kelly, Abhaya, Thomas and James will be joined by Simon Cannavan (QLD), Shane Chung (VIC), Kerrilyn Cramer (VIC), Di Larkin (VIC), Matthew McAleer (NSW), Shannon Walding (QLD) and Bjorn Wettstein (VIC) on the manicured grass courts of Wimbledon.

Players and officials will take to the famous grass courts for The Championships from 20 June.
