Five TOA members will attend the ITF Level Three School in India next month. Catherine Caswell and Matthew Kellert (NSW), Tom Sweeney (VIC) and James Tucker (QLD) are hoping to gain their bronze ITF chair badges, while Kerrilyn Cramer (VIC) will be aiming for her silver ITF referee's badge.

TOANSW's Troy Deighton has been appointed as TOA's National Communications Coordinator. Rosemary Grace (VIC) has been appointed his assistant. Together, Troy and Rosemary will produce a new quarterly national newsletter featuring articles on officiating from across the country. They'll also ensure the TOA website is up to date with the latest news and information for TOA members.

A strong contingent of Australian officials will again be calling the shots at the French Open and Wimbledon in 2010. Catherine Caswell, Matthew Kellert and Abhaya Parthy (NSW), John Blom (ACT), Shannon Walding (QLD) and Kerrilyn Cramer and Tom Sweeney (VIC) will officiate at Roland Garos, while John, Abhaya, Shannon and Kerrilyn will also umpire at this year's Championships at Wimbledon alongside Simon Cannavan (QLD), Shane Chung and Di Larkin (VIC) and Matthew McAleer (NSW).
